Stephanie from Columbia Maryland, 20 minutes from our Nation's Capitol. Quilting is my passion but my children and my husband are my life! I am mother of 4 kids, three in College and one in High School! I have been a Neonatal Intensive Care Nurse for 25 years at Johns Hopkins Hospital working mostly night shift. In my spare time it's all about being creative in many ways, especially quilting. Oh yeah, I have the most supportive husband EVER, he is my best friend!
Stephanie, you've done a beautiful job on that quilt! And what a joy it will be to you in years to come just to snuggle under it and feel your Mom's love.
Lovely blocks and what a treasure for you to have- together you are making something really beautiful. I am sure that your mother would love that you are doing something with them. Warmest regards, Anna
Love this!!! What kind of hand quilting do you call this. I have seen others do this style on their quilts but have just never asked how you do it! It has a random/stippled/hen scratch look that I like!!

What pleasure it must give you to work on your mom's blocks. I miss mine, too. Always will.
Wow, your mom did great work on that quilt. That is a true joy to have as a remembrance.
A lovely tribute and a great way to honor your mother.
Your Mom did some beautiful work. So glad you've got them.
It has become an heirloom of love, I'm glad you can continue it on. It's really quite pretty, as was your Momma.
